    Nurturing Ideas, Empowering Entrepreneurial Spirits

What would NEET young people build, if someone believed in their creative potential and actually gave them the tools to act on it?

Across Europe, millions of young people are not in employment, education, or training. Many have real creative potential but no structured pathway into the cultural and creative economy, a sector that is growing but remains difficult to enter without guidance, networks, or entrepreneurial know-how. Youth workers who could open these doors often lack the specific tools to support cultural entrepreneurship in practice. Creative ambition, without the right scaffolding, goes nowhere. Young Cultentrepreneurs builds a non-formal learning ecosystem that moves NEET young people aged 18–29 from creative idea to viable entrepreneurial project. A comprehensive course, piloted across five European countries and available in six languages, gives 80 young participants practical skills in cultural and creative entrepreneurship. Youth workers are equipped with a dedicated handbook that gives them the frameworks and confidence to support this process in their own contexts. A digital scrapbook, co-created with participants, documents the journey and gives young people a public platform to launch their first entrepreneurial steps.
