Landscape Artists of the Year | 2025

ARTIT is thrilled to announce its 2nd International Call focusing on landscape art. This is an opportunity for artists worldwide to showcase their work and celebrate diversity, creativity, and innovation in contemporary landscape art. The finalists will be featured in our open-access, non-commercial publication, titled "Landscape Artists of the Year 2025." This issue will spotlight established and emerging artists from around the world, showcasing diverse styles and perspectives that push the boundaries of traditional and contemporary landscape art.

Your artworks will be featured in the publication and promoted across ARTIT’s online channels and platform, reaching a broad audience of art enthusiasts and curators. We welcome two-dimensional visual artworks (excluding photography) in any style, from realism to abstraction, and encourage participation from artists of all backgrounds and experiences.

Submissions are open to all who wish to explore and present their unique perspectives on landscapes in today’s world. Whether you specialise in serene natural environments, urban and industrial scenes, imagined or abstracted terrains, or conceptual interpretations of place, we are eager to see how you interpret landscapes and translate them into compelling visual narratives. We believe in art as a powerful tool for reflection, connection, and change, and we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in all forms of artistic expression. Therefore, we encourage artists from different cultural, geographic, and social backgrounds to participate and share their views on how landscapes—natural, built, or imagined—shape our experiences, memories, and relationships with the world around us.

Finalists’ artworks will be featured in our open-access, non-commercial publication dedicated to exploring the diverse world of landscape art. The book aims to showcase a wide range of perspectives, techniques, and approaches, highlighting both emerging and established artists. Being published offers artists the opportunity to share their work with a global audience and take part in a collective celebration of contemporary landscape art.

Selected works will be highlighted on ARTIT’s online platform, featured in curated social media posts, and included in email campaigns shared with our network of curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts. Artit's People's Choice Landscape Artist of the Year 2025

This award is determined by the ARTIT audience and goes to the artist whose work resonates most with the public. It’s an opportunity to engage with a wide community and have your art recognized for its impact and appeal.

Artit's Jury Selection Landscape Artist of the Year 2025

This award is determined by our jury panel—Tania Rivilis, Milo Hartnoll, Ayuna Solarazure, Kevin Schott, and Vanessa Van Meerhaeghe—and goes to the artist whose work demonstrates exceptional skill, innovation, and vision in contemporary landscape art. It’s an opportunity to receive professional recognition from established figures in the art world and have your practice acknowledged for its artistic excellence.

Register on the ARTIT platform and set up your artist portfolio. Include your name, social media profiles, and a concise artist bio. This helps introduce you to our global audience and provides insight into your artistic journey.

✧ Upload Your Artworks
Add your artworks to your portfolio, including clear descriptions for each piece. Be sure to specify the title, medium, and dimensions, and share what each artwork represents to you. We encourage you to showcase additional works to give our jury a fuller understanding of your artistic vision and style.

✧ Submit Your Work to the Call
Select the pieces that best reflect your artistic identity and align with the theme of the call. Ensure your submission captures your personal connection to the subject and resonates with the spirit of the call.

During the evaluation process our jury team will meticulously review each submission for the 'Landscape Artists of the Year | 2025"  call for art, considering several key criteria. Firstly they will assess the artistic excellence and originality displayed in each artwork.

"We firmly believe that landscapes hold immense power to inspire evoke emotions and transport viewers and we aim to recognize artworks that demonstrate exceptional artistic skill and a unique creative vision. In addition the jury will carefully examine the relevance of each artwork to the theme of bringing landscapes to life.

Whether you capture the tranquility of a countryside scene the grandeur of mountain vistas or the vibrant energy of urban landscapes we embrace and celebrate diverse artistic expressions that breathe life into landscapes. Furthermore our jury appreciates the multitude of narratives and cultural contexts that can be explored through landscape art. We value artworks that invite viewers to contemplate the beauty of nature reflect on the relationship between humans and their surroundings and evoke a sense of awe and wonder.
